More about Masood:
Masood is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) in Ontario supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges, including CPTSD, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, and complex life experiences. He also works with individuals navigating cultural expectations, identity development, and intergenerational dynamics. Masood has a special interest in supporting members of the South Asian community who may be balancing family, cultural, and personal values while working through mental health concerns. His integrative approach draws from somatic therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices, allowing therapy to be tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
In addition to his work with individuals, Masood supports couples in navigating relational challenges, building emotional safety, and fostering deeper connection. He creates a calm and supportive environment where partners can take a step back, explore what’s happening between them, and build a deeper understanding of their relationship dynamics.
Outside of the therapy room, Masood enjoys downhill skiing, playing basketball, hiking, and exploring Ottawa in search of the city’s best steak.
